A Breath of Fresh Air — Especially the Shower! I had an amazing stay at the Courtyard Marriott in Chicago’s Medical District, and honestly? I didn’t expect to be this impressed. Let’s start with the room: clean, neat, and calming. But baby, the shower?! That water pressure was doing the Lord’s work. I felt baptized and refreshed. Five stars just for that. But what truly made the stay unforgettable was the hospitality. From the valet to the front desk, the bistro staff to the shuttle driver; every single person was warm, helpful, and went above and beyond. And what touched me most was how kind they were to my daughter. It’s rare to find a place where people see children and treat them with dignity and delight. In a world that often feels cold, especially toward little ones, this hotel made us feel welcomed and cared for. That’s not just customer service, that’s humanity. If you’re headed to Chicago and need a place near the Medical District, this is it. 10/10. Will absolutely return.

Amazing….Home visiting for the holidays. Got in really late but they were still able to accommodate me. The staff here are very nice and make sure you have everything you need. Valet parking for $40.00 a night or you can park across the street and walk over. Nice gym, the hotel itself is very nice and clean. They also offer a very nice breakfast selection. Great view of downtown Chicago. I’ll probably always stay here when I comeback to visit.

We came here from Kansas City. The staff were friendly when we arrived. The rooms were clean. Parking was $40 a night, so we parked across the street at the hospital for $20 a night. I believe valet parking was $55. I didn't love the parking situation but because traffic was so terrible we bought passes and took busses and metro and left the car parked. The metro passes were $5 per person for the day and worked for the busses too. Breakfast wasn't included and there was no microwave in the room. This plus the parking at $40 made me less than thrilled. The hotel was cheap compared to others in the area so I'm sure that's why Breakfast isn't free and parking costs $40 a day. Not a bad place to stay because of location. Overall the place is just ok.

The staff was so helpful finding great area restaurants and solutions to travel issues. The room was clean and there was minimal noise on the floor. I would stay there again.

Good location in the Medical District and still close to downtown Chicago. The area is quieter than the Loop, which I appreciated. My room was comfortable and had a good desk setup for getting work done. Staff were great to deal with. They take care of valet parking on-site, and the hotel runs a shuttle within about 1.5 miles, which made it easy to reach the nearby hospitals and the university. There are also meeting rooms for groups of around 25 to 80 people, so it works well for business trips or small events. The fitness room has the basics you need, The breakfast at the Bistro is a highlight — the flatbread, the quesadilla and the frittata (my favourite) are always fresh and very good. You can feel how much care Santos and Minerva put into improving your experience. Keep up the goo job! Solid option if you’re staying in the Medical District or traveling for work. We have been twice already for business, and we will keep doing it.

We had a great stay at this hotel. We spoke with two separate ladies at the front desk and they were both wonderful! The hotel is within 1/2 mile of the United Center and there is a shuttle that will run you to & from there. A few notes: This is next to the hospital, so you probably will hear sirens. I have experienced this downtown Chicago as well, so it didn’t bother us. We knew in advance that was very likely. Valet parking is $40. That is a good price for parking that close to downtown Chicago.

I recently stayed at this Marriott and was very satisfied. Location was fantastic for accessing the United Center and great restaurants in the West Loop. Araceli, from guest services, was very helpful and made sure my trip was perfect. Thanks again!

I checked in with a large group and a bus. We gave the hotel a heads up we’d be coming early, but of course they couldn’t guarantee early check in. I called 20 mins before arrival to ensure parking. I checked in at the desk with no expectations, and lo and behold, lovely Brenda at the front desk had a handful of keys ready for us to check in. It was a Christmas miracle, and Brenda deserves a raise. Not only accommodating and helpful, but very sweet and kind. We like Brenda. Five stars for her
